In 1994, a small group of the Krewe of Sant’ Yago members established a legacy when they created the Sant’ Yago Education Foundation as a 501c3 nonprofit organization. Our Tampa Bay community has benefited from close to $5 million in donations with 1093 scholarship recipients awarded among the three institutions we support; USF, UT, and HCC in the Tampa Bay area. This academic year of 2023-24 alone we are sponsoring 114 Sant’ Yago scholarship recipients! Sant’ Yago Foundation is the No. 1 provider of scholarships for all the Krewes in the city of Tampa and the No. 1 provider of scholarships to Latino students in the entire Bay Area.
